Decca Classics has released the official album of The Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III & Queen Camilla. The album produced by Anna Barry features all the music from the historic ceremony recorded this past Saturday, May 6, at Westminster Abbey, including the newly composed pieces of music (six orchestral commissions, five choral commissions and one organ commission). Among the the commissions are pieces by film/TV composers Patrick Doyle (Sense and Sensibility, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Cinderella, Henry V), Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Wolf Hall, Vampire Killers, Adventures of Arsene Lupin) and Nigel Hess (Maigret, Ladies in Lavender).

Music Video for Alicia Keys’ Orchestral Version of ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ from ‘Queen Charlotte’ Released
Netflix has released the official music video for the orchestral version of If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys from the Netflix limited series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. The cover was recorded with a newly formed 74-piece Global Orchestra, made up entirely of women of color, on the 20th anniversary of the song. The track is now available as a digital single on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon) and is also included on the Covers from the Netflix Series soundtrack album, which has been released last Thursday. Rob Lord Scoring Josh Duhamel’s ‘Buddy Games: Spring Awakening’
Rob Lord (Troop Zero, I Am Duran, Slipstream) has composed the original score for the new comedy Buddy Games: Spring Awakening. The film is directed by Josh Duhamel and stars Dan Bakkedahl, Kevin Dillon, Duhamel himself, James Roday Rodriguez, Nick Swardson, Lochlyn Munro, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jensen Ackles. The sequel to 2020’s Buddy Games (scored by Alex Wurman) follows the gang as they set out to honor a lost friend, only to find themselves in the middle of Spring Break.
‘A Body That Works’ Soundtrack Album Released
NaNa Disc has released a soundtrack album for the Israeli TV series A Body That Works (Goof Shlishi). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Gal Lev (Karaoke, Bloody Murray). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. A Body That Works is created by Shira Hadad, Dror Mishani & Shay Capon and stars Lior Raz, Rotem Sela, Yehuda Levi and Gal Malaka. The 8-part drama revolves around a childless couple who enlist the help of a surrogate.
Dickon Hinchliffe Scoring Karim Aïnouz’s ‘Firebrand’
Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, The Lost Daughter, Locke, Out of the Furnace, Leave No Trace, Last Chance Harvey) has composed the original music for the upcoming historical dramatic psychological thriller Firebrand. The film is directed by Karim Aïnouz (Invisible Life, Madame Satã) and stars Alicia Vikander, Jude Law, Erin Doherty, Sam Riley, Eddie Marsan, Patsy Ferran, Junia Rees, Ruby Bentall, Bryony Hannah and Maia Jemmett. The movie explores how Katherine Parr, the last of King Henry VIII’s six wives, endured her union with the monstrous monarch and kept her head in the 16th Century.
‘Bardot’ Soundtrack Album Released
Federation Studios has released a soundtrack album for the French limited series Bardot. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Arthur Simonini (Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Hibou, Vampires, Tendre et saignant). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Bardot is written and directed by Danièle Thompson & Christopher Thompson and stars Julia de Nunez, Victor Belmondo, Géraldine Pailhas, Yvan Attal, Hippolyte Girardot, Anne Le Ny, Noham Edje, Oscar Lesage and Jules Benchetrit. The 6-part drama focuses on the first years of international icon Brigitte Bardot’s superstar life as she deals with her new status while trying to find her true self.
Sarah Warne Scoring BBC’s ‘Steeltown Murders’
Sarah Warne (Humans, Time, The Drowning, Hollington Drive, Our House, Dark Money) is the composer of the new BBC drama Steeltown Murders. The show is written by Ed Whitmore (Manhunt, Identity) and stars Philip Glenister, Steffan Rhodri, Keith Allen, Sharon Morgan, Priyanga Burford, Scott Arthur and Siôn Alun Davies. The 4-part series directed by Marc Evans (Hunky Dory, Trauma) is based on a true story and centers on the hunt to catch the killer of three young women in the Port Talbot area and how the mystery was solved almost 30 years later using pioneering DNA evidence.

Premiering on Wednesday, May 10, is the FX limited series Class of ’09 created by Tom Rob Smith and starring Brian Tyree Henry, Kate Mara, Jon Jon Briones, Sepideh Moafi, Brian J. Smith, Brooke Smith, Jake McDorman and Rosalind Eleazar. The show’s original music is composed by Will Bates (The Magicians, Unbelievable, Away, The Path, The Looming Tower, I Origins). Check out our previous article to learn more about the 8-part thriller, which will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu.
Also premiering on Wednesday is the Disney+ original series The Muppets Mayhem developed by Adam F. Goldberg, Bill Barretta & Jeff Yorkes and starring Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Eric Jacobson, Saara Chaudry and Barretta himself. Mick Giacchino (Extinct, Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow, Zootopia+) has composed the show’s original score. Linda Perry serves as the project’s executive music producer and has also contributed original songs. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album featuring both songs and score on May 10.
‘Hellhole’ Soundtrack Album Released
Carl-Johan Sevedag (Borg vs McEnroe, Horizon Line, Opponent, Red Dot) has released a soundtrack album for the Polish horror drama Hellhole (Ostatnia wieczerza). The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Hellhole is co-written and directed by Bartosz M. Kowalski and stars Piotr Żurawski, Olaf Lubaszenko, Sebastian Stankiewicz, Rafał Iwaniuk, Lech Dyblik and Krzysztof Satała. The movie is set in 1987 Poland and follows a police officer investigating mysterious disappearances who infiltrates a remote monastery and discovers a dark truth about its clergy.
Dan Romer & Osei Essed Scoring Kyle Patrick Alvarez’s ‘Crater’
Dan Romer (Luca, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Maniac, Superman & Lois, Station Eleven) & Osei Essed (How to Survive a Pandemic, Finders Keepers, Katrina Babies) have teamed up to score the new Disney+ original movie Crater. The film is directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez (The Stanford Prison Experiment, Homecoming) and stars Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Mckenna Grace, Billy Barratt, Thomas Boyce, Orson Hong and Scott Mescudi. The coming-of-age sci-fi adventure tells the story of a boy raised on a lunar mining colony who – together with his three best friends – goes on a trip to explore a mysterious crater to fulfill the last wish of his recently deceased father.
