Manners McDade will release a soundtrack album for the BBC horror series Red Rose. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Tim Morrish (Code 404, Pili) & Jessica Jones (The Tinder Swindler, The Surgeon’s Cut, Reclaiming Amy). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Red Rose is written by Paul & Michael Clarkson and stars Amelia Clarkson, Isis Hainsworth, Natalie Blair, Ellis Howard, Natalie Gavin and Ali Kahn. Composer Brian Reitzell (Stranger Than Fiction, Friday Night Lights, Beginners, Relic) is reteaming with director David Slade (Hard Candy) on the upcoming fantasy horror thriller Dark Harvest. The film is based on Norman Partridge’s 2007 novel of the same title and stars Casey Likes, E’myri Crutchfield, Jeremy Davies, Elizabeth Reaser and Luke Kirby. The movie is set in a small Midwestern town, in which every fall a supernatural specter makes its way toward the town’s church, where gangs of teenage boys await their chance to confront the legendary nightmare in an annual harvest rite of life and death. Intrada Records has announced two new soundtrack albums for the 1985 sci-fi horror thriller Lifeforce directed by Tobe Hooper and starring Steve Railsback, Peter Firth, Mathilda May, Frank Finlay and Patrick Stewart.
