WaterTower Music will release a new soundtrack album for DC’s HBO Max original series Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s third season composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, His Dark Materials, The LEGO Batman Movie). Also included is the song Candlesticks and Caravans by Balfe and actress Harriet Slater. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 7 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The label has previously released two albums featuring Balfe’s music from Season 2 and David Russo’s score from Season 1 earlier this year. The full details of the soundtrack album for David O. Russell’s crime comedy Amsterdam have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, Birds of Prey, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.). Also included is the original song Time performed by Giveon (which already has been released as a digital single last month) and other songs from the movie. Lucky Dog & City Slang will release a soundtrack album for Claire Denis’ romantic thriller Stars at Noon. The album features the film’s original music composed by the alternative rock band Tindersticks who previously collaborated with Denis on such movies as Nenette and Boni, Bastards, High Life and this year’s Both Sides of the Blade.
