Composer collective Transcenders (Gossip Girl, Black-ish, Madam Secretary, Our Family Wedding, The Kings of Napa) have written the original score for the new Netflix original series Survival of the Thickest. The show is created by Michelle Buteau & Danielle Sanchez-Witzel (Up Here) based on Buteau’s book of essays and stars Buteau herself, Tone Bell, Tasha Smith, Garcelle Beauvais, Taylor Selé, Marouane Zotti, Anissa Felix and Liza Treyger. Editions Verde will release the official soundtrack album for the documentary 20 Days in Mariupol. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jordan Dykstra (Blow the Man Down, Restless). The film is directed by Stephen Cookson (Brighton) and stars Diane Keaton, Patricia Hodge, Lulu, David Harewood OBE, Boy George, Bill Paterson, Hayley Mills, Adil Ray, Esme Lonsdale, Lawrence Chaney, Genevieve Gaunt and Hannah Howland. The movie follows a woman who discovers that her deceased husband had invented an anti-aging elixir, which makes the drinker look young again and shares it with her two friends. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2007 action comedy Hot Fuzz co-written and directed by Edgar Wright and starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost,Timothy Dalton and Jim Broadbent. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the film composed by David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Sherlock, Stargate, Tomorrow Never Dies, Good Omens, Godzilla), including previously unreleased music.
