Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the British mystery comedy Wicked Little Letters. The album features the film’s original music composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, The Phantom of the Open, EmmaThe Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the HorseRoar, Vita & Virginia, Munich: The Edge of War). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, February 23 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz (Copying BeethovenIn Darkness, Rosemary’s Baby, Quo Vadis, Aida?The Affair) & Mary Komasa-Łazarkiewicz (Cracow Monsters, Charlatan) have teamed up to score the upcoming German/French comedy drama Treasure. The film is directed by Julia von Heinz (Hanna’s Journey, And Tomorrow the Entire World) and stars Lena Dunham, Stephen Fry and Zbigniew Zamachowski. The movie based on the bestselling autobiographical novel Too Many Men by Lily Brett is set in 1990s Poland after the fall of the Iron Curtain and follows an American music journalist and her father, a charmingly stubborn Holocaust survivor, on a journey to his homeland. Craft Recordings & Varèse Sarabande have announced Reel Cult, a new soundtrack reissue series for B-movie soundtrack aficionados. Among the first two titles is a new (and first in over 50 years) vinyl edition for the 1977 thriller Orca directed by Michael Anderson and starring Richard Harris, Charlotte Rampling, Will Sampson, Bo Derek & Robert Carradine featuring music composed by Academy Award winner Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Hateful Eight, The Untouchables). The album, which is pressed on Blood In The Water-colored vinyl, presented in a tip-on jacket and includes a fold-out poster, will be released on Record Store Day 2024 and will be available at participating independent music retailers on April 20. Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Adult Swim original anime series Ninja Kamui. The album features the show’s original score composed by R.O.N (aka Iida Ryouta) (Tensura Nikki: Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken). Also included are songs performed by Steve Memmolo, Michael “Kasper” Abruzzes, Chez, Toft Willingham and Jessica Gelinas. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 16 and will be available to stream/download here. Available separately as a digital single from Warner Music Japan is coldrain’s original song Vengeance written for the show.
