The Guild of Music Supervisors today announced the nominations for its 13th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards, which will take place at an in-person and virtual awards gala at The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 5, 2023. ‘The English’ Expanded Edition Soundtrack Album Announced

Silva Screen Records will release a second soundtrack album for the Amazon/BBC limited The English. The album features the expanded original score from the show composed by Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, Watership Down, Loving Pablo, Santa Evita, Life Itself, The Head, Misconduct), including 33 previously unreleased tracks. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 27 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the original soundtrack album featuring twelve score tracks, as well a number of folk songs in November. The album features the show’s original music composed by Quentin Sirjacq (Bright Days Ahead, Brother, Made in China) & Nicolas Becker (Sound of Metal, A Prayer Before Dawn, Earwig). Roc Chen (7 Guardians of the Tomb, Chinese Zodiac, Stoker Hills, Switch, Sacrifice) will release a soundtrack album for the Chinese sci-fi adventure The Wandering Earth II. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and will be released digitally tomorrow, January 23 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Milan Records has previously released the composer’s score from the original 2019 film. The Wandering Earth II is directed by Frant Gwo and stars Wu Jing, Li Xuejian, Ning Li and Andy Lau . Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the thriller Missing directed by Will Merrick & Nick Johnson and starring Storm Reid, Nia Long, Ken Leung, Joaquim de Almeida, Amy Landecker and Daniel Henney. The film’s original music composed by Julian Scherle (Princess of the Row, Heart of the Champions, Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche). The 5-track EP features the film’s original composed by Fred Myrow & Malcolm Seagrave and produced & arranged by Christopher L. Stone.
