BSX Records has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 1987 television movie Young Harry Houdini co-written and directed by James Orr and starring Wil Wheaton, Jeffrey DeMunn, Kerri Green, Roy Dotrice, Barry Corbin, J. Reuben Silverbird, Rossie Harris, Phillip Brock, José Ferrer, Michael Alldredge, Sean McClory and Lee de Broux. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Lee Holdridge (Splash, The Mists of Avalon, The Beastmaster, Mr. MomOld Gringo, Oliver’s Story). The soundtrack was released digitally on the label’s official website last month and is now also available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Mutant has announced a vinyl edition of the soundtrack album for the post-apocalyptic horror movie 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple directed by Nia DaCosta, written by Alex Garland and starring Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman and Chi Lewis-Parry. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Head (P-Valley, Tom Swift, Boomerang, She the People, The Family Business, Robin Roberts Presents: Mahalia). The comedy, which is set behind the scenes of a long-running late-night talk show and follows Varnell as he fights to stay relevant in a rapidly changing entertainment landscape, will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.
Premiering on Wednesday, September 2, is the British action thriller The Runner directed by Kevin Macdonald and starring Gal Gadot, Damian Lewis, Rory Wilmot and Alfred Enoch.
