La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere score album for the 1996 sports thriller The Fan directed by Tony Scott and starring Robert De Niro, Wesley Snipes, John Leguizamo, Benicio del Toro and Ellen Barkin. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Interstellar, Inception, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dune, Rain Man, Man of Steel), as well as the composer’s original “sketchbook suite” and the song Letting Go performed by Terence Trent D’Arby. The soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition 2-CD set, which is limited to 3,000 copies, on the label’s official website, where you also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. BSX Records has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 1997 television movie A Match Made in Heaven directed by Paul Wendkos, written by Susan Rice and starring Olympia Dukakis, John Stamos, Kelly Rowan, Estelle Getty and Della Reese. The album features the film’s original score composed by Emmy Award winner Don Davis (The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Bound, Jurassic Park III, Valentine, Behind Enemy Lines). Neon confirmed today that singer/songwriter Damon Albarn (of the rock band Blur) has provided original songs and the original score for the upcoming comedy drama Artificial. The film is directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Challengers) and stars Andrew Garfield, Monica Barbaro, Yura Borisov, Ike Barinholtz, Cooper Hoffman, Cooper Koch, Jason Schwartzman, Zosia Mamet, Angus Imrie, Billie Lourd, Chris O’Dowd and Mark Rylance.
