Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish/Uruguayan psychological thriller Subsuelo. The album features the film’s original music composed by Maite Arroitajauregi (Irati, Foremost by Night, Mercenario). Subsuelo is co-written and directed by Fernando Franco and stars Julia Martínez, Diego Garisa, Nacho Sánchez, Montse Díez, Iñigo de la Iglesia, Itzan Escamilla and Sonia Almarcha. The movie is based on Marcelo Luján‘s novel of the same name and follows two young twin siblings who become involved in a tragic accident one summer night, but the circumstances seem to be known only by themselves and their mother. The film is directed by Kirill Sokolov (No Looking Back, Why Don’t You Just Die) and stars Zazie Beetz, Myha’La, Tom Felton, Paterson Joseph, Heather Graham and Patricia Arquette. ‘Film Club’ Soundtrack Album Released

Bucks Records has released a soundtrack album for the BBC comedy drama Film Club. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Nathan Klein (Ludwig, Psycho Therapy, The Beast Within101 Dalmatian Street, MH370: The Plane That Disappeared, McGregor Forever). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Film Club is created by Aimee Lou Wood & Ralph Davis and stars Wood herself, Nabhaan Rizwan, Suranne Jones, Owen Cooper, Arian Nik, Liv Hill, Lisa McGrillis and Fola Evans-Akingbola. Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, Leave the World Behind, Feud: Bette and Joan, American Crime Story, GaslitMonster: The Ed Gein Story) has composed the original score for the new Netflix limited series His & Hers. The show is developed by William Oldroyd (Lady Macbeth, Eileen) based on Alice Feeney’s 2020 novel of the same name and stars Tessa Thompson, Jon Bernthal, Pablo Schreiber, Marin Ireland, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Sunita Mani and Crystal Fox. The 6-part thriller follows two estranged spouses — one a detective, the other a news reporter — as they vie to solve a murder in which each believes the other is a prime suspect. La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere “commercial” CD release of the soundtrack for the 1996 crime thriller Bound written and directed by the Wachowski siblings and starring Jennifer Tilly, Gina Gershon, John Ryan and Joe Pantoliano. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Don Davis (The Matrix, Jurassic Park III, The Matrix ReloadedThe Matrix Revolutions, Valentine, Behind Enemy Lines). Also included as a bonus track is a recording of the composer’s concert piece Illicit Felicity inspired by the film score, performed by pianist Jenny Lin (previously released as a digital single). The 30th Anniversary Edition is limited to 1,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio clips. ‘Héroïnes’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released

Gaumont has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 1997 French drama Héroïnes co-written and directed by Gérard Krawczyk and starring Virginie Ledoyen, Maïdi Roth, Marc Duret, Dominic Gould, Saïd Taghmaoui, Marie Laforêt, Charlotte de Turckheim and Edouard Baer . The album features the film’s original songs and score composed by Roth (Interpol, Le Daron, La Peste). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the opening titles track and the first song after the jump. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone, the recut version of the 1990 drama The Godfather Part III starring Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire, Andy García, Eli Wallach, Joe Mantegna, Bridget Fonda, George Hamilton and Sofia Coppola. The 3-CD set features the newly remastered and expanded original score from the film composed by Carmine Coppola (Apocalypse Now, The Outsiders, Gardens of Stone) on the first disc, alternate cues, as well as several cues from the original 1972 The Godfather movie that were re-recorded on the second disc, and the remastered original 1990 soundtrack album on the third disc. The 35th Anniversary Edition is limited to 3,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Ludwig Göransson was honored with his second Critics Choice Award in the Best Score category for his music for Ryan Coogler’s Sinners at tonight’s 31st Critics Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. He previously received the award for his music from Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer in 2024. The other composers nominated in the category were Hans Zimmer (F1), Alexandre Desplat (Frankenstein), Max Richter (Hamnet), Daniel Lopatin (Marty Supreme) and Jonny Greenwood (One Battle After Another). Premiering tonight before moving to its regular Tuesday night slot on January 6 is the Fox comedy drama Best Medicine developed by Liz Tuccillo based on ITV’s Doc Martin and starring Josh Charles, Annie Potts, Abigail Spencer, Cree and Josh Segarra. The show’s original music is composed by Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, The Kominsky Method, Ransom Canyon, Heels, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates,White House Plumbers, CSI: Miami, Ghosts, The FranchiseJust Friends).
