A soundtrack album has been announced for the action drama Transporter: The Series. The album features selections from the original music of the show’s first season composed by Nathaniel Mechaly (Taken series, Colombiana, Taxi Brooklyn). Also included are songs from the series by ADN System. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 15, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Quad will release a soundtrack album for the French holiday comedy Le Père Noël. The album features the film’s original music composed by Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, The Time Machine, Rescue Dawn). Also included are songs by James Blunt, CeeLo Green, MC Hammer and Jabberwocky. The soundtrack will be released digitally overseas on December 9, 2014. Click here to listen to audio clips. The Illuminated Film Company will release a soundtrack album for the animated short On Angel Wings. The album features the film’s original music composed by Julian Nott (Wallace & Gromit shorts & feature). Lorne Balfe is composing the score for the upcoming British indie thriller Bone in the Throat. The film marks the feature directorial debut of commercials director Graham Henman and stars Ed Westwick, John Hannah, Tom Wilkinson, Vanessa Kirby, Rupert Graves, Steven Mackintosh and Neil Maskell. The movie is based on the best-selling novel by Anthony Bourdain and follows a chef at the hottest restaurant in London’s East End who becomes embroiled in his uncle’s underground mob activity when he witnesses him commit a murder. The film follows an aging hitman who is forced to take on his brutal former boss to protect his estranged son and his family. Brad Inglesby (Out of the Furnace) has written the script. Thomas Newman to Score 24th James Bond Film ‘Spectre’

Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced today that Thomas Newman will return to score the 24th film in the James Bond series, Spectre. The composer will reteam with director Sam Mendes who previously helmed 2012’s Skyfall. They also collaborated on the features American Beauty, The Road to Perdition, Revolutionary Road and Jarhead. Spectre stars Daniel Craig in the title role, alongside Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Ralph Fiennes as M. Rory Kinnear, Andrew Scott, David Bautista, Monica Bellucci, Léa Seydoux and Christoph Waltz are co-starring.
