Nettwerk has announced a soundtrack release for the indie drama Still Alice. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, The Young Victoria, The Invisible Woman, Layer Cake). Also included is a cover of Lyle Lovett’s If I Had A Boat by British musician Karen Elson, which plays during the film’s end credits. The soundtrack will be released on January 13, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Click here to listen to a couple of tracks from the score. Still Alice is directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland and stars Julianne Moore who received a SAG Awards and Golden Globe nomination for her performance last week. Brian Tyler is officially set to score the upcoming sequel Now You See Me: The Second Act. The film is directed by Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Step Up 2 & 3D) and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman who reprise their roles from the original movie. They are joined by Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzy Caplan and Jay Chou. The thriller takes place a year after the first part and follows the Four Horsemen who find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet. Ed Solomon (Men in Black, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure) & Pete Chiarelli (The Proposal) have written the screenplay. Michael Brook is composing the music for the upcoming romance Brooklyn. Ilan Eshkeri has been hired to score the upcoming comedy Don Verdean. The film is directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) and stars Sam Rockwell, Jemaine Clement, Amy Ryan, Danny McBride, Leslie Bibb and Will Forte. The movie follows a Biblical archaeologist who is hired by a local church pastor to find faith-promoting relics in the Holy Land and is forced to get creative after a fruitless expedition. The director has also co-written the screenplay with Jerusha Hess. Brandt Andersen, Dave Hunter and Jason Hatfield are producing the project.
