Warner Records has announced a “companion” soundtrack album for the Linkin Park documentary Unshatter. The album features a selection of the rock band’s career-spanning live tracks recorded at the FROM ZERO album release show in November 2024 in São Paulo, Brazil. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on September 25. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD version. Unshatter directed by Joe Hahn chronicles Linkin Park’s journey through loss, resilience and creative reinvention and tells the story of how they started over, from studio sessions in 2022 to a sold out FROM ZERO album release show in São Paulo.

‘Mall’ Soundtrack Released
Warner Bros. Records has released a soundtrack album for the thriller Mall. The album features the film’s original music composed by Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, Mike Shinoda (The Raid) & composer Alec Puro (The Art of Getting By, The Fosters). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Mall is directed by Joe Hahn and stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Gina Gershon, Cameron Monaghan, Peter Stormare and James Frecheville. The movie follows five disaffected suburbanites whose lives come together at a shopping mall following a seemingly random shooting.
‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ Soundtrack Status
UPDATE (May 31, 2011): The release date of the score album has been pushed back to June 28, 2011, while the song album is still scheduled to come out on June 14.
Reprise Records will be releasing two different soundtrack albums for the upcoming sci-fi action sequel Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The track list of the song album recently surfaced and can be checked out after the jump. Artists included on the album are Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Goo Goo Dolls and Mastodon. Also featured on the soundtrack is Linkin Park’s song Iridescent, which will be featured as the end credits song in the film. As reported last month, the band is also collaborating with composer Steve Jablonsky on the movie. The song soundtrack will be released on June 14, 2011 and is now available to pre-order on Amazon. Steve Jablonsky and Linkin Park Collaborating on ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’
Linkin Park announced on their official website (via ComingSoon.net) that they have once again teamed up with composer Steve Jablonsky for the music of the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The band’s new single Iridescent will be featured as the end credits song in the sequel. The track is a fresh take of the song, which originally appeared on Linkin Park’s current album A Thousand Suns. The band previously contributed the songs What I’ve Done and New Divide for the previous Transformers movies, with the latter also being included in Steve Jablonsky’s score for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Linkin Park also published a new video about the film’s music, which you can watch after the jump. In the video, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda and Steve Jablonsky talk about their collaboration and the placement of Iridescent in the film.
