Big Machine Records will release a full soundtrack album for the documentary Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me. The album features the songs from the film performed by the Grammy-winning singer and Country Music Hall of Fame member, including the Academy Award-nominated original song I’m Not Gonna Miss You written by Campbell and Julian Raymond. Also included is a track by The Band Perry, who previously paid tribute to Campbell during the 2012 Grammy Awards and an original song by Campbell’s daughter Ashley. The soundtrack will be released on February 17, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released an EP featuring five songs from the film. Academy Awards show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today that musical artists Common and John Legend will perform their Oscar-nominated song Glory at the 87th Oscars, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, on Sunday, February 22. The song written by John Stephens (a.k.a. John Legend) and Lonnie Lynn (a.k.a. Common) for Ava DuVernay’s Oscar-nominated film Selma starring David Oyelowo, Tom Wilkinson and Oprah Winfrey is one of the five nominated songs in the Best Original Song category, alongside Everything Is Awesome from The Lego Movie, Grateful from Beyond the Lights, I’m Not Gonna Miss You from Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me and Lost Stars from Begin Again. The 87th Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.

WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for DC Entertainment’s and Warner Bros. Animation’s movie Justice League: Throne of Atlantis. The album features the film’s original music composed by Frederik Wiedmann (Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Beware the Batman, Son of Batman, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). La-La Land Records is releasing a limited edition physical version of the soundtrack. Justice League: Throne of Atlantis is directed by Ethan Spaulding and features the voices of Matt Lanter, Sam Witwer, Jason O’Mara, Shemar Moore, Jerry O’Connell, Christopher Gorham, Rosario Dawson, Nathan Fillion, Sean Astin and Harry Lennix. Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez to Write Original Musical Number for Oscars

Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris announced today on Twitter via a video message that Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are writing an original multimedia, musical sequence, Moving Pictures, which Harris will perform on at the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, February 22. The duo received their first Oscar in 2014 for the song Let It Go from Disney’s animated hit feature Frozen. The 87th Oscars are produced by Neil Meron and Craig Zadan and will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood. The show will be televised live on the ABC Television Network in the U.S. and in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.

Director Josh Trank revealed in a recent interview with Collider that Philip Glass is co-scoring the upcoming reboot of The Fantastic Four. The composer will be collaborating with Marco Beltrami who was previously announced to score the film starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, Reg E. Cathey and Tim Blake Nelson. David Holmes is reuniting with Oliver Hirschbiegel (Downfall, The Experiment, The Invasion) on the upcoming German drama Elser (13 Minutes). The film starring Christian Friedel, Katharina Schüttler, Burghart Klaußner, David Zimmerschied and Johann von Bülow tells the story of Georg Elser, a German carpenter who had assembled a bomb and plotted an attack on Hitler in November 1939, shortly after the start of World War II. Oliver Schündler & Boris Ausserer of Lucky Bird are producing the project with Fred Breinersdorfer (Sophie School of Delphi. Premiering tonight is the History original mini-series Sons of Liberty directed by Kari Skogland and starring Ben Barnes, Rafe Spall, Michael Raymond-James, Henry Thomas, Ryan Eggold, Marton Csokas, Emily Berrington, Dean Norris and Jason O’Mara. Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Inception, Gladiator) has composed the series’ title theme. Sons of Liberty follows John Adams, Sam Adams, Paul Revere, John Hancock and Joseph Warren as they band together in secrecy to change the course of history and make America a nation.
