The full details of the soundtrack album for the family adventure Max have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Trevor Rabin (Remember the Titans, Armageddon, National Treasure, Gone In 60 Seconds, Con Air). The soundtrack will be released on June 23, 2015 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Max is directed by Boaz Yakin and stars Josh Wiggins, Lauren Graham, Thomas Haden Church, Robbie Amell, Luke Kleintank and Jay Hernandez. The two-parter is directed by Laurie Collyer (Sherrybaby) and stars Kelli Garner, Susan Sarandon, Emily Watson, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Eva Amurri Martino. The four-hour TV event is based on J. La-La Land Records has released a new soundtrack album for Paramount Pictures’ 1993 thriller The Firm based on the John Grisham novel, directed by Sidney Pollack and starring Tom Cruise, Ed Harris and Holly Hunter. The album features the film’s expanded and remastered original music composed by Dave Grusin (Three Days of the Condor, The Goonies, Tootsie, Havana) who received an Academy Award nomination for his score, including previously unreleased music and alternates, as well as the content of the original 1993 soundtrack album. Carter Burwell has signed on to score the upcoming disaster drama The Finest Hours. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl, Million Dollar Arm, Fright Night) and stars Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Ben Foster, Eric Bana, Kyle Gallner and Holliday Grainger. The movie is based on a true story revolving around a rescue attempt by the Coast Guard in 1952 after pair of oil tankers are destroyed during a blizzard. Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for Aardman Animations’ Shaun the Sheep Movie. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Kick-Ass, Layer Cake, Still Alice, 47 Ronin). Composer Jed Kurzel is set to make his directorial debut with the upcoming sports comedy drama Ivan Lendl Never Learnt to Volley. The film will star Denis Menochet as a man whose fanatical desire to see his son become a tennis champion comes at any cost. The composer’s brother Justin Kurzel (Macbeth, The Snowtown Murders) is producing the project with Anna McLeish & Sarah Shaw (Partisan, Shopping).
