Michael Price is composing the music for the upcoming ITV series Unforgotten. The six-part drama is created by Chris Lang (Undeniable, The Tunnel) and stars Nicola Walker, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Trevor Eve, Bernard Hill, Ruth Sheen and Tom Courtenay. The show centers on a 39-year-old murder case that is re-opened when the bones of a young man are found beneath the footings of a demolished house. Eduardo Noya has been hired to score the upcoming period drama series Versailles. The show is created by Simon Mirren (Criminal Minds) & David Wolstencroft (The Escape Artist) and stars George Blagden, Alexander Vlahos, Dominique Blanc, Amira Casar, Tygh Runyan, Stuart Bowman, Noémie Schmidt, Evan Williams, Anna Brewster and Sarah Winter. The 10-parter is set in 1667 and follows Louis XIV as he evolves from a young King into an absolute monarch, a 17th century rock star with the mind of Machiavelli. The show is created by Andrew Mogel & Jarrad Paul (The D Train, Yes Man) and stars Rob Lowe, Fred Savage, William Devane, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Natalie Morales, Hana Hayes and Connor Kalopsis. A24 announced today that Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu and Matmos have joined Nico Muhly to compose original music and songs for the upcoming sci-fi comedy How to Talk to Girls at Parties. The film will be directed by John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Rabbit Hole) and is set to star Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman and Alex Sharp. The movie is based on a short story by Neil Gaiman and follows a teenage punk rocker in 1970s suburban London who sneaks into a party with his friends where they meet a group of intensely attractive, otherworldly girls from outer space.
