Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the fantasy adventure Gods of Egypt directed by Alex Proyas and starring Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Young, Courtney Eaton and Brenton Thwaites. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, The Wolverine, The Hurt Locker). Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the sports comedy drama Eddie the Eagle directed by Dexter Fletcher and starring Taron Egerton, Christopher Walken, Hugh Jackman, Jo Hartley, Tim McInnerny and Ania Sowinski. Matthew Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Kick-Ass 2) has composed the film’s original score. Varese Sarabande will release the composer’s music next month.
