The details of the soundtrack album for the new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series House of Cards have been announced. The album features selections from the original music of the show’s fourth season composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Beal (Monk, Rome, Appaloosa, Ugly Betty, The Newsroom, Pollock). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 1, 2016 and physically on April 29. Visit Amazon to pre-order the 2-CD set. The label has previously released soundtracks for all of the first of the first three seasons of the drama. House of Cards is developed by Beau Willimon, executive produced by David Fincher and stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. Naxos of America will release a soundtrack album for the Austrian psychological thriller Goodnight Mommy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Olga Neuwirth, including thirteen extra tracks that were unused in the film. The music is performed by the Vienna Glass Armonica Duo, Heinz Ditsch and Neuwirth herself. The soundtrack will be released on April 8, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Goodnight Mommy is written and directed by Severin Fiala & Veronika Franz and stars Susanne Wuest, Elias Schwarz and Lukas Schwarz. The Newton Brothers have signed on to score the upcoming horror thriller The Bye Bye Man. The film is directed by Stacy Title (The Last Supper) and stars Douglas Smith, Cressida Bonas, Lucien Laviscount, Doug Jones, Cleo King, Jenna Kanell, Erica Tremblay, Carrie-Anne Moss and Faye Dunaway. The movie follows three Wisconsin college students who move into an old, off-campus house, where they find themselves hunted by a supernatural entity called The Bye Bye Man. Michael Brook has been hired to score the upcoming indie drama All We Had. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actress Katie Holmes who also stars in the film alongside Stefania Owen,Luke Wilson, Richard Kind, Mark Consuelos, Judy Greer and Eve Lindley. The movie is based on a novel by Annie Weatherwax and follows a mother and her daughter, living on the edge of poverty, who find an unlikely home amid the quirky residents of small town America.
