Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for Marvel’s Netflix original series Daredevil. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by John Paesano (The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, Dragons: Riders of Berk, Where the Game Stands Tall). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 15 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from last year’s first season of the series. Daredevil based on the Marvel Comics character and starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson and Scott Glenn follows the journey of Matt Murdock who is fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil. The film is directed by Cedric Jimenez and stars Jason Clarke, Rosamund Pike, Jack O’Connell, Jack Reynor and Mia Wasikowska. The movie is based on Laurent Binet’s 2012 bestselling novel and . Jimenez has also written the screenplay with David Farr (Hanna, The Night Manager) and Audrey Diwan. Alain Goldman (La Vie en Rose, The Crimson Rivers, 1492: Conquest of Paradise) is producing the project for Legende Films, alongside Daniel Crown (Beasts of No Nation, What Maisie Knew) for Red Crown. Elvin Ross is reuniting with Tyler Perry on the upcoming comedy Boo! A Madea Halloween. The film is written and directed by Perry who also stars in the film, alongside Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Lexy Panterra, Yousef Erakat, Andre Hall, Brock O’Hurn and Bella Thorne. The movie follows Madea as she winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens. ‘City of Stars’ from ‘La La Land’ Released

Interscope Records has released the first song from the upcoming movie musical La La Land. The track, entitled City of Stars, is performed by Ryan Gosling, written by Justin Hurwitz (Whiplash) and features lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The song is now available to download on Amazon and is also featured in the movie’s first teaser trailer, which premiered today and is embedded after the jump. Interscope will release a full soundtrack album later this year. La La Land is written and directed by Damien Chazelle (Whiplash) and stars Gosling, Emma Stone, J. K.
