The film is written and directed by Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes) and stars Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis, Dan Stevens, Austin Stowell and Tim Blake Nelson. The movie follows a party girl who discovers a mysterious connection between herself and a giant monster wreaking havoc on the other side of the globe. rambo-first-blood-2Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1985 action sequel Rambo: First Blood Part II directed by George P. Cosmatos and starring Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna, Charles Napier and Steven Berkoff. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith (Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Omen, Planet of the Apes, Patton, L.A. Confidential) who previously scored the first movie in the franchise. The 2-CD set features the complete score on the first disc, as well as the 35mm three-channel mixes and several extras on the second disc. steven-priceSteven Price revealed in a recent interview with Collider that he has started work on Edgar Wright’s upcoming action crime comedy Baby Driver. No details about his exact involvement are known yet as the composer calls the project “not a traditionally scored film.” The movie written and directed by Wright (Shaun of the DeadScott Pilgrim vs. the World) stars Ansel Elgort, Lily James, Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Jon Bernthal, Sky Ferreira and Kevin Spacey. The show’s original score is composed by Elliott Wheeler (Restraint). collageMercury Classics will release James Horner‘s concert piece, Collage, which was the composer’s last work before he passed away last summer. The concerto for four horns and orchestra was commissioned by the Houston Symphony and the International Horn Society and premiered in March of 2015 at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Horner (Titanic, Avatar, A Beautiful Mind, BraveheartApollo 13The Amazing Spider-Man) recorded the concert work with the London Philharmonic Orchestra just a few weeks before his passing.
