The movie follows a party girl who discovers a mysterious connection between herself and a giant monster wreaking havoc on the other side of the globe. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1985 action sequel Rambo: First Blood Part II directed by George P. Cosmatos and starring Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna, Charles Napier and Steven Berkoff. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith (Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Omen, Planet of the Apes, Patton, L.A. Confidential) who previously scored the first movie in the franchise. The 2-CD set features the complete score on the first disc, as well as the 35mm three-channel mixes and several extras on the second disc. ‘Game of Thrones’ Live Concert Experience Announced

The show’s composer Ramin Djawadi (Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Warcraft) will participate in the concert tour with a full orchestra and choir. The concert experience produced and promoted by Live Nation in partnership with HBO Global Licensing, will use innovative music tour production and video technology that will recreate the various realms found throughout Westeros and Essos as well as showcase footage from the show in addition to all new imagery created exclusively for the tour, which will kick off on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Kansas City, Mo. and visit 28 cities across North America with shows scheduled at such venues as Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Forum in Los Angeles, as well as arenas in Montreal, Boston, Houston, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Washington DC & more. Mercury Classics to Release James Horner’s ‘Collage – The Last Work’

Mercury Classics will release James Horner‘s concert piece, Collage, which was the composer’s last work before he passed away last summer. The concerto for four horns and orchestra was commissioned by the Houston Symphony and the International Horn Society and premiered in March of 2015 at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Horner (Titanic, Avatar, A Beautiful Mind, Braveheart, Apollo 13, The Amazing Spider-Man) recorded the concert work with the London Philharmonic Orchestra just a few weeks before his passing.
