Red River Entertainment will release the official soundtrack album for the comedy sequel Bad Santa 2. The album features the songs from the film by artists including Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, CeeLo Green, Joy Williams, Ray Conniff, Moz, William Clarke & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 18, 2016. Bad Santa 2 is directed by Mark Waters (Mean Girls, Freaky Friday) and stars Billy Bob Thornton, Kathy Bates, Christina Hendricks, Tony Cox, Brett Kelly, Ryan Hansen, Jenny Zigrino and Jeff Skowron. The movie follows Willie Sokie as he teams up once again with his angry little sidekick, Marcus, to knock off a Chicago charity on Christmas Eve. Dario Marianelli to Score Joe Wright’s ‘Darkest Hour’

Working Title Films and Focus Features announced today that Dario Marianelli will be reteaming with director Joe Wright on the upcoming historical drama Darkest Hour. The film stars Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill, alongside John Hurt as Neville Chamberlain, Lily James as Churchill’s personal secretary, Ben Mendelsohn as King George VI and Kristin Scott Thomas as Churchill’s wife, Clementine. The movie follows Churchill as he leads a charge against Adolf Hitler’s army in the early days of World War II. Anthony McCarten (Theory of Everything, Death of a Superhero) wrote the screenplay. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the hit indie comedy Don’t Think Twice. The album features the film’s original score composed by Roger Neill (Mozart in the Jungle, Beginners, King of the Hill, 20th Century Women). The album features the film’s original music composed by Dustin O’Halloran (Transparent, Like Crazy, Lion) and Adam Wiltzie aka A Winged Victory for the Sullen. The soundtrack will be released on November 16, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Shadow of Iris is directed by Jalil Lespert (Yves Saint Laurent) who also stars in the film alongside Romain Duris, Charlotte Le Bon, Camille Cottin, Sophie Verbeeck and Adel Bencherif. Premiering on Friday, November 11, is the Netflix original movie True Memoirs of an International Assassin directed by Jeff Wadlow and starring Kevin James, Zulay Henao, Andy Garcia, Maurice Compte, Kelen Coleman, Andrew Howard, Rob Riggle, Leonard Earl Howze, Yul Vazquez and Kim Coates. The film’s original music is composed by Ludwig Goransson (Creed, Community, Fruitvale Station, New Girl, Central Intelligence). The comedy follows a mild-mannered would-be author who gets mistaken for a killer-for-hire when his fictional novel about an international assassin is published as a true story. The movie will be available to stream on Friday on Netflix.
Also premiering on Friday is the sci-fi adventure comedy MECH-X4 created by Steve Marmel and starring Nathaniel Potvin, Raymond Cham, Kamran Lucas, Pearce Joza and Alyssa Jirrels. Tim Wynn (The Starving Games, Superfast!, Warhawk video game) is composing the show’s original music. The series follows a freshman at Bay City High who mysteriously awakens MECH-X4, a giant robot built to defend Bay City against impending doom. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Michael Stuhlbarg and Tilda Swinton. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Star Trek, Up, Inside Out, Jurassic World, Lost, The Incredibles, Ratatouille).
