Silva Screen Records has released a new soundtrack album for the ITV original series Unforgottten. The album features selections from the original music of the show’s second season composed by Emmy Award winner Michael Price (Sherlock, The Inbetweeners 2, Horrid Henry: The Movie, Just Jim). Unforgotten is created by Chris Lang and its second season stars Lorraine Ashbourne, Douglas Hodge, Will Brown, Mark Bonnar, Charlie Condou, Rosie Cavaliero, Nigel Lindsay, Holly Aird, Wendy Craig and Peter Egan. Focus Features has confirmed today that Jonny Greenwood will be reteaming with director Paul Thomas Anderson on his next, currently untitled project. The movie starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Lesley Manville and Vicky Krieps is set in the couture world of 1950s London and centers on the life behind the curtain of an uncompromising dressmaker commissioned by royalty and high society. Anderson who also wrote the screenplay is producing the project with JoAnne Sellar (Magnolia, Boogie Nights) and Megan Ellison (Her, Sausage Party, Zero Dark Thirty, Spring Breakers) through her Annapurna Pictures company. The drama tells the story of a politically active couple whose relationship and values are tested when they liberate a political prisoner and form a radical underground cell in 1970s London. Ridley who is also directing the first two and final episodes and Elba are also executive producing the Fifty Fathoms and ABC Signature production with Michael J. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend creator, songwriter and star Rachel Bloom has written an original song for the upcoming crossover episodes of The CW’s The Flash and Supergirl. The song entitled Superfriends will be performed by Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist. In addition, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who contributed the lyrics to Justin Hurwitz’s songs from La La Land and wrote the score for the stage musicals Dear Evan Hansen and Dogfight, have composed the original song Runnin’ Home to You, which will be performed by Gustin. It was announced today that Marius de Vries will serve as the music producer on the upcoming drama Teen Spirit. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Max Minghella and is being described as an “underdog story set in the world of pop-music, about growing up, dreaming big, and finding your voice.” Minghella also wrote the screenplay, which he developed with actor Jamie Bell who will be executive producing the movie.
