Opening in theaters nationwide is the spy thriller The Amateur directed by James Hawes and starring Rami Malek, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Stuhlbarg, Rachel Brosnahan, Jon Bernthal, Caitríona Balfe, Adrian Martinez, Holt McCallany, Julianne Nicholson and Danny Sapani. The film’s original music is composed by Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Lion, Conclave, Adrift, Hotel Mumbai, The Old Guard, One Life, The Day of the Jackal, Patrick Melrose). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Walking Dead, Happy Death Day, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica, God of War) has composed the film’s original music.
