Wagram Music will release a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian family comedy Le petit Spirou. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rolfe Kent (Sideways, Election, Wedding Crashers, Mean Girls, Freaky Friday). Also included is the song Si on chantait, which was recorded specifically for the movie and is performed by Vianney. Alex Greenwald is making this feature film scoring debut on Brie Larson’s upcoming directorial debut Unicorn Store. The actress also stars in the movie alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Joan Cusack, Bradley Whitford, Mamoudou Athie, Hamish Linklater, Martha MacIsaac, Karan Soni and Annaleigh Ashford. The film marks the solo directorial debut of actress Greta Gerwig and stars Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts, Beanie Feldstein, Lucas Hedges and Timothée Chalamet. The movie revolves around a rebellious young woman who navigates the pressures and constraints of Catholic school and life in Sacremento. Nick Cave and Warren Ellis are composing the score for the upcoming crime drama Kings. The film is written and directed by Deniz Gamze Ergüven and stars Halle Berry, Daniel Craig, Lamar Johnson, Kaalan “KR” Walker and Rachel Hilson. The movie follows a recluse who helps a woman and her multiple children when riots erupt in Los Angeles following the 1992 acquittal of the policemen charged with assaulting Rodney King. Gillan also stars in the movie alongside Lee Pace, Matthew Beard, Paul Higgins, Siobhan Redmond and Kate Dickie. The movie centers on a woman who is dealing with the suicide of her best friend. The film is directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) and stars Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Val Kilmer and J.K. Simmons. The movie is based on Jo Nesbø’s global bestseller and follows an elite crime squad’s lead detective who investigates the disappearance of a victim on the first snow of winter and fears an elusive serial killer may be active again. Hossein Amini (Drive, Snow White and the Huntsman) and Peter Straughan (The Men Who Stare at Goats, Frank) wrote the screenplay.
