Ramin Djawadi has signed on to score the upcoming Amazon original series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. The show is developed by Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) & Graham Roland (Fringe) based on the Tom Clancy’s character and stars John Krasinksi in the title role, alongside Abbie Cornish, Peter Fonda, Timothy Hutton,Wendell Pierce, Dina Shihabi and Ali Suliman. The show centers on CIA agent Jack Ryan as he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale. Jeff Cardoni has been hired to score the upcoming NBC comedy A.P. Bio. The show is created by Mike O’Brien (Saturday Night Live) and stars Glenn Howerton, Patton Oswalt, Lyric Lewis, Mary Sohn, Aparna Brielle, Jacob McCarthy and Nick Peine. The series follows a philosophy scholar who loses out on his dream job and goes to work as a high school Advanced Placement Biology teacher and uses his students to get back at the people in his life who have wronged him. Charlie Mole is reuniting with director Oliver Parker on the upcoming British comedy Swimming with Men. The film stars Rob Brydon, Jim Carter, Jane Horrocks, Adeel Akhtar, Daniel Mays, Charlotte Riley, Thomas Turgoose, Rupert Graves and Nathaniel Parker. The movie tells the story of a man suffering a mid-life crisis who finds new meaning to his life as part of an all-male, middle-aged, amateur synchronized swimming team. Aschlin Ditta (Scenes of a Sexual Nature) wrote the screenplay inspired by the 2010 documentary Men Who Swim. Nate Heller is reteaming with director Marielle Heller to score the upcoming comedy Can You Ever Forgive Me?. The film starring Melissa McCarthy, Richard E. Grant, Jane Curtin, Dolly Wells, Anna Deavere Smith and Jennifer Westfeldt is based on Lee Israel’s memoir of the same title and revolves around the journalist who had fallen on hard times in the early 90s and began selling letters that she had forged from deceased writers and actors. Nicole Holofcener (Enough Said, Friends with Money) wrote the screenplay. The Orchard will release a soundtrack album for Joachim Trier’s supernatural thriller Thelma. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ola Flottum (Force Majeure) who previously scored the director’s previous features, Louder Than Bombs, Reprise and Oslo, August 31st . The soundtrack will be released on November 10, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Thelma is co-written and directed by Trier and stars Eili Harboe, Okay Kaya, Henrik Rafaelsen and Ellen Dorrit Petersen. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alfonso de Vilallonga (Snow WhiteTranssiberian) who previously scored the director’s My Life Without Me. Sony Masterworks has released a soundtrack album for the comedy sequel A Bad Moms Christmas. The album features the songs from the movie by artists including The Lumineers, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, DNCE, Little Mix & more. Also included are three tracks from the film’s original score composed by Christopher Lennertz (Horrible BossesBaywatchRide Along, Identity ThiefAgent Carter) who previously scored last year’s original film. The composer also produced the track 12 Days of Christmas performed by Colbie Caillat feat. Aloe Blacc and arranged by Chris Walden. Amazon Content Services will release a soundtrack album for the new Amazon original series If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. The album features the original songs from the show’s first season written and performed by Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb.
