‘Kneecap’ Soundtrack to Be Released

Heavenly Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the Irish comedy drama Kneecap. The album features the songs from the movie performed by the titular band, as well as tracks by Orbital, Bicep, Dirty Faces, Fontaines D.C., The Bonny Men & others. Also included is the movie’s original score composed by Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante (Criminal RecordQueen Cleopatra). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 30. Kneecap is written and directed by Rich Peppiatt and stars Liam Óg Ó Hannaidh, JJ Ó Dochartaigh, Naoise Ó Cairealláin, Michael Fassbender, Simone Kirby and Josie Walker. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original anime series Terminator Zero. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Michelle Birsky & Kevin Henthorn (Mother/Android). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 30 and will be available to stream on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ title track below. Terminator Zero is created by Mattson Tomlin and features the voices of André Holland, Rosario Dawson, Sonoya Mizuno, Ann Dowd, Armani Jackson and Timothy Olyphant. The Production IG and Skydance Animation production directed by directed by Masashi Kudo follows a warrior from a post-apocalyptic future who travels to 1997 to protect a scientist who works to launch a new AI system designed to compete with Skynet’s impending attack on humanity and is hunted by an unrelenting assassin from the future which forever alters the fate of his three children. Pierre Oberkampf has released a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age drama Girls Will Be Girls. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. The movie is set at a strict boarding school in the Himalayas and follows a 16-year-old girl as she discovers desire and romance; but her rebellious, sexual awakening is disrupted by her mother who never got to come-of-age herself. Dan Deacon (HustleAscensionTwixt, Strawberry Mansion, Wedding Season, All Light, Everywhere) is currently recording his score for the upcoming superhero movie Venom: The Last Dance. The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Kelly Marcel (Saving Mr. Banks, Fifty Shades of Grey) and stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham. The final installment in the Venom trilogy follows Eddie and Venom as they are on the run, hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, and are forced into a devastating decision. The album features the film’s original music composed by Salinas, singer/songwriter Jessica Childress who has made her feature scoring debut on the project and Tomás Videla (Superhuman Body: World of Medical Marvels). Mike McCready has contributed the original music to the new family sports drama You Gotta Believe. The Pearl Jam lead guitarist has written and performed several instrumental rock tracks, as well as the original credits song My Son for the film directed by Ty Roberts (12 Mighty Orphans, The Iron Orchard) and starring Luke Wilson, Greg Kinnear, Sarah Gadon, Michael Cash, Lew Temple, Etienne Kellici and Molly Parker. The movie is based on a true story and follows a group of underdogs from Fort Worth, Texas who – after dedicating the season to a teammate’s ailing father – takes its Cinderella run all the way to a record-breaking showdown in the Little League World Series. Composer Aaron Zigman (The NotebookBridge to Terabithia, The Proposal, John QSex and the CityWakefield, The Ugly Truth, Escape from Planet Earth) is reuniting with director Tyler Perry on the upcoming Netflix original film The Six Triple Eight. The movie is written and directed by Perry and stars Kerry Washington, Ebony Obsidian, Milauna Jackson, Shanice Shantay, Kylie Jefferson, Sarah Jeffery, Pepi Sonuga, Gregg Sulkin, Scott Daniel Johnson, Susan Sarandon, Dean Norris, Sam Waterston and Oprah Winfrey. The historical drama is inspired by the first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color to serve overseas in World War II and tells the story of an Army Captain and her historic battalion of female soldiers as they defy the odds to deliver hope to the front lines.
