Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy The Breadwinner. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winners Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Twisted Metal, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Obliterated, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 29 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Breadwinner is directed by Eric Appel and stars Nate Bargatze (who also co-wrote the screenplay), Mandy Moore, Colin Jost, Martin Herlihy, Zach Cherry, Kate Berlant, Kumail Nanjiani and Will Forte. The movie follows a husband and father whose wife lands a once-in-a-lifetime deal on Shark Tank that takes her on a prolonged business trip and now has figure out how to keep the house from (literally) falling apart as a first-time stay-at-home dad. The comedy is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Sony Pictures.
