Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Japanese anime feature A New Dawn. The album features the film’s original score composed by Shuta Hasunuma (Strange Tales of Love and Strangers). Also included is the song Aoba by imase. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 4 and will be available to stream/download here. He is teaming up with Marcus Trumpp (Fear Street Part 1 & 3, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, Love and Monsters, Turbulence, Clown in a Cornfield) to co-score the movie starring Vincent Cassel, Karim Leklou, Daphné Patakia, Benjamin Voisin, Sébastien Pouderoux, Noémie Lvovsky, Eli Nachmani & Alexis Rosenstieh. The drama, which is set in Paris on the eve of 1830’s July Revolution and reimagines the life of the man said to have inspired Victor Hugo’s iconic character, Quasimodo, follows the title character who gets caught between political turmoil and an impossible love as the cholera epidemic spreads through the city.
