Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the crime comedy Drive-Away Dolls co-written and directed by Ethan Coen and starring Margaret Qualley, Geraldine Viswanathan, Beanie Feldstein, Colman Domingo, Bill Camp, Joey Slotnick and Pedro Pascal. The film’s original music is composed by Carter Burwell (The Banshees of Inisherin, Carol, Fargo, True Grit, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Twilight). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as songs by artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Asie Payton, The Liverbirds, Le Tigre, Shannon Shaw & others today. Also opening wide is the drama Ordinary Angels directed by Jon Gunn and starring Hilary Swank, Alan Ritchson, Nancy Travis, Tamala Jones, Drew Powell, Drew Powell, Amy Acker, Skywalker Hughes and Emily Mitchel. Pancho Burgos-Goizueta (Anonymous Killers, People You May Know, Wheels, God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness) has composed the film’s original score. Lionsgate Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score next week.
