The full details of the soundtrack album for David Robert Mitchell’s neo-noir thriller Under the Silver Lake have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Disasterpeace (aka Rich Vreeland) who previously scored the director’s last feature It Follows. Also included are songs by R.E.M., Meek Bride & Her Band and The Association. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on June 22, 2018 by Milan Records. Philippe Sarde has been chosen as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s World Soundtrack Awards at the Film Fest Gent. The Brussels Philharmonic will perform his music at the 18th World Soundtrack Awards, which will take place on October 17, 2018. Throughout his career, Sarde has collaborated with directors such as Claude Sautet, Bertrand Tavernier, Roman Polanski, André Téchiné and Jean-Jacques Annaud on films including The Tenant, Tess, ThievesNelly & Monsieur Arnaud and Pirates. W.G. Snuffy Walden, Patrick Rose and Noah Sorota have composed the original score for the new NBC drama Reverie. The show is created by Mickey Fisher (Extant) and stars Sarah Shahi, Dennis Haysbert, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Kathryn Morris and Jessica Lu. The series follows a former detective specializing in human behavior who is brought in when the launch of an advanced virtual reality program has dangerous and unintended consequences. Geoff Barrow & Ben Salisbury (Ex Machina, Annihilation, Free Fire) have recently composed the music for the upcoming drama Luce. The film is directed by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) and stars Kelvin Harrison Jr., Naomi Watts, Octavia Spencer and Tim Roth. The movie is based on J.C. Lee’s play of the same title and revolves around an African teenager and former child soldier living in a suburb and his relationship to a teacher who becomes aware of his views on political violence. Cleopatra Records has released a soundtrack album for the action thriller China Salesman. The album features music inspired by the film by artists, including the title track by Tyson & DMX, as well as songs by Mozzy & Gunplay, Vado & Dave East and more. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. China Salesman is written and directed by Tan Bing and stars Mike Tyson, Steven Seagal, Dong-Xue Li, Janicke Askevold, Li Ai and Eriq Ebouaney. Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete soundtrack for the 1969 monster movie The Valley of Gwangi directed by James O’Connolly, produced by Ray Harryhausen and starring James Franciscus, Gina Golan and Richard Carlson. The film is written and directed by Daniel Sawka and stars Anthony Gonzales, Genesis Rodriguez, Matthew Moreno and Omar Leyva. The movie is based on Sawka’s short of the same title and centers on a young boy from Honduras who is forced to leave his home country and attempt to reach his uncle in the United States. James L.
