Rue Jacob Records has released a soundtrack EP for the French drama The Musicians (Les musiciens). The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Grégoire Hetzel (Ismael’s Ghosts, Incendies, Summertime, My Golden Days, The Midwife, Oh, Mercy!) and performed by soloists including Petteri livonen, Daniel Garlitsky, Beatrice Muthelet, Cyrille Lacrouts, Nina Tonji & Tatiana Uhde. BMI Announces Launch of Composer Lab to Foster the Next Generation of Media Composers

BMI today announced the launch of its inaugural Composer Lab, designed to provide emerging composers with a one-of-a-kind experience to foster artistic growth and professional development. Under the guidance of composer (and former director of the Sundance Film Music Program) Peter Golub, and BMI’s VP of Film, TV & Visual Media Tracy McKnight, the program will select ten composers to participate in a two-week online workshop followed by a nine-day onsite intensive in Los Angeles.
