David Schwartz has recently composed the original score for the upcoming comedy We Are Unsatisfied. The film marks the feature directorial debut of producer Matt Ratner (Manson Family Vacation, Band of Robbers) and stars Billy Crystal, Ben Schwartz, Grace Gummer, Kevin Dunn, Debra Monk, Jill Hennessy, Eloise Mumford, John Behlmann and Caitlin McGee. Big Machine Records has announced the details of the final soundtrack album for the CMT original series Nashville. The album features the songs from the second half of the show’s sixth and final season performed by cast members including Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, Sam Palladio, Jonathan Jackson, Maisy Stella, Chris Carmack, Rainee Blake, Ilse DeLange, Ronny Xox and Jake Etheridge. Michael Andrews (BridesmaidsNeighborsFreaks & GeeksBad TeacherFunny People) is reuniting with director Sean Anders on the upcoming comedy Instant Family. The film starring Mark Wahlberg, Rose Byrne, Octavia Spencer, Isabela Moner, Tig Notaro, Iliza Shlesinger and Tom Segura follows a couple who decides to start a family and adopt through the foster-care system, only to find themselves raising three wild kids who have no interest in being parented. Premiering on Friday, July 6, is the Netflix original movie The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter directed by Jody Hill and starring Josh Brolin, Danny McBride, Montana Jordan and Scoot McNairy. The film’s original music is composed by Joseph Stephens (Observe and Report, Flower, Eastbound and Down, Vice Principals). The movie revolves around the star of hunting videos who strives to bond with his 12-year-old son on a wilderness trip but learns familial connections can’t be forced. The details of the compilation soundtrack album James Horner – The Classics have been revealed. The album features tracks from several of the Academy Award-winning composer’s classic scores newly recorded by musicians such as 2CELLOS, Lindsey Stirling, Tina Guo, The Piano Guys, Alexis Ffrench, Amy Dickson, Lavinia Meijer & others. Among the titles featured on the album are Titanic, Avatar, Braveheart, Apollo 13, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Field of Dreams, An American Tail and The Amazing Spider-Man. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the thriller Sicario: Day of the Soldado directed by Stefano Sollima and starring Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Isabela Moner, Jeffrey Donovan, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Catherine Keener. The film’s original is composed by Hildur Gudnadottir (Mary MagdaleneStrong IslandThe Oath). Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Bob Thiele Jr. is scoring the upcoming Sons of Anarchy spin-off series Mayans M.C. The show is created by Kurt Sutter & Elgin James and stars JD Pardo, Clayton Cardenas, Edward James Olmos, Sarah Bolger, Michael Irby, Carla Baratta, Antonio Jaramillo, Raoul Max Trujillo, Richard Cabral and Danny Pino.
