BMG will release a soundtrack album for the drama Papillon. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Buckley (The Good Wife, Jason Bourne, The Forbidden Kingdom, The Nice Guys). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 24 and will be available to download on Amazon. Papillon is directed by Michael Noer and stars Charlie Hunnam, Rami Malek, Yorick Can Wagenhingen, Roland Møller, Tommy Flanagan and Eve Hewson. The movie is based on the books Papillon and Banco by Henri Charrière and tells the story of a safecracker from the Parisian underworld who is framed for murder and condemned to life in the notorious penal colony on Devils Island. Hans Zimmer has signed on to score the upcoming superhero sequel Wonder Woman 1984. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster) who previously helmed last year’s original movie (scored by Rupert Gregson-Williams) and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal. The movie follows the title character as she comes into conflict with the Soviet Union during the Cold War in the 1980s, and finds a formidable foe in the form of the Cheetah. Good Pop, in partnership with Sony/ATV and Black Label Media will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original movie Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. The album features the songs from the movie performed by lead actress Shannon Purser, Betty Who, Allie X, MNEK, Sabrina Carpenter, K.I.D, Carlie Hanson and Leland. Also included are two tracks from the movie’s original score written by Leland and Bram Inscore. WaterTower Music has released the original song Wonderful Life from the soundtrack for the animated feature Smallfoot. The track is written by director Karey Kirkpatrick and Wayne Kirkpatrick and is performed by Zendaya who is also among the movie’s voice cast. The song is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon and also check out the music video after the jump. As previously reported, Niall Horan has also contributed an original song to the film. Smallfoot also features the voice talent of of Channing Tatum, James Corden Common, LeBron James, Gina Rodriguez, Danny DeVito and Yara Shahidi.
