Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the comedy Holmes & Watson. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (The LEGO Movie, Thor: Ragnarok, 21/22 Jump Street, The Royal Tenenbaums, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs). The soundtrack will be released on December 21 and will be available to download on Amazon. A CD version is available to order here. Holmes & Watson is written and directed by Etan Cohen and stars Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Rebecca Hall, Rob Brydon, Kelly Macdonald and Ralph Fiennes. Composer Blake Neely is reteaming with director Ryan White on the upcoming documentary Ask Dr. Ruth. The film chronicles the incredible life of Dr. Ruth Westheimer, a Holocaust survivor who became America’s most famous sex therapist, as she revisits her painful past and her career at the forefront of the sexual revolution. White is also producing the project with Rafael Marmor, Jessica Hargrave and Christopher Leggett (Becoming Bond). The full details of the soundtrack album for the new season of BBC’s Doctor Who have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s eleventh season composed by Segun Akinola who took over scoring duties on the series this year from Murray Gold who scored the previous seasons. The soundtrack is set to be released digitally on January 11, 2019 by Silva Screen Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A physical release is also in the works. Singer/songwriter Toby Keith has written an original song for Clint Eastwood’s crime drama The Mule. The track, entitled Don’t Let the Old Man In, is written and performed by Keith and was recorded at Nashville’s Ocean Way Studio. The song, which will be featured during the film’s end scene and end titles sequence, will be released as a digital single this Friday, December 7 and will be available to download here.
