Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the animated feature Rock Dog. The album features the film’s original score composed by Golden Globe nominee Rolfe Kent (Sideways, Up in the Air, Wedding Crashers, Election, Mean Girls), as well as two original songs, Bodi Finds The Fire written by by Adam Friedman & Kent and Glorious by Adam Friedman. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Rock Dog is directed by Ash Brennon and features the voices of JK Simmons, Luke Wilson, Eddie Izzard, Lewis Black, Kenan Thompson, Mae Whitman, Jorge Garcia, Matt Dillon and Sam Elliot. The movie revolves around a struggling comedian who returns to her college town of Austin, Texas and must come to terms with her past while staying with her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend. Lakeshore Records to Release ‘Logan’ & ‘Ghost in the Shell’ Soundtracks

Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the comic book movie Logan directed by James Mangold and starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, World War Z) who previously scored Mangold’s The Wolverine and 3:10 to Yuma. The soundtrack will be released in early March. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD version. The label will also release the soundtrack for the sci-fi adventure Ghost in the Shell directed by Rupert Sanders and starring Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbaek, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche and Michael Pitt. Fil Eisler has signed on to score the upcoming comedy Life of the Party. The film is directed by Ben Falcone (Tammy, The Boss) and stars Melissa McCarthy, Julie Bowen, Maya Rudolph, Gillian Jacobs, Jacki Weaver, Debby Ryan, Luke Benward and Matt Walsh.
