The track, which is featured in the film’s end titles, is written by the movie’s co-composer Raney Shockne (The To Do List, Queen of the South, Anger Management) and Guns N’ Roses keyboardist Melissa Reese. The song is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. The Assignment starring Michelle Rodriguez, Tony Shalhoub, Sigourney Weaver, Anthony LaPaglia and Caitlin Gerard follows an assassin, who is double crossed by gangsters and finds himself in the hands of a rogue surgeon who turns him into a woman. The album features the songs from the film performed by the cast, which includes Abigail Breslin, Debra Messing, Bruce Greenwood, Nicole Scherzinger, Sarah Hyland, Tony Roberts, Katey Sagal, Billy Dee Williams, Colt Prattes and J. Quinton Johnson. Also included is a new version of Be My Baby by Bea Miller, which will be available to download tomorrow, as well as new tracks by Greyson Chance, American Authors, Lady Antebellum, Seal, Karmin & more. rodinCristal Records will release a soundtrack album for the French biographical drama Rodin. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Philippe Sarde (Tess, The Tenant, Quest for Fire). The soundtrack will be released overseas on May 19 by Cristal Records. Rodin is written and directed by Jacques Doillon and stars Vincent Lindon in the title role, alongside Izia Higelin and Séverine Caneele. The movie tells the story of the revolutionary 19th-century French sculptor, Auguste Rodin, and his relationship with his life-long partner, Rose Beuret, and tumultuous affair with Camille Claudel, his most apt pupil and muse. frozenChristophe Beck confirmed on Twitter that he is set to score Disney Animation’s upcoming sequel Frozen 2. The film is directed by Jennifer Lee & Chris Buck who also helmed the 2013 original hit movie and Kristen Bell and Josh God will return as the voices of Anna and Olaf respectively. It is also expected that Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Bobby Lopez will be writing new songs for the sequel, but no official announcement has been made yet. Frozen producer Peter Del Vecho (The Princess and the FrogWinnie the Pooh) is also returning. Beck previously scored the original Frozen movie, for which he received an Annie Award and a Grammy Award nomination, as well as the short Frozen Fever. The film is directed by David Michod (Animal Kingdom, The Rover) and stars Brad Pitt, Topher Grace, Emory Cohen, Tilda Swinton, Anthony Michael Hall, Will Poulter, Jonathan Ing and Ben Kingsley. The satire is based on the book The Operators by Michael Hastings and revolves around a four-star U.S. military general who is sent to Afghanistan to bring the war to an end, but finds he himself is the one under attack.
