The details of the soundtrack album for the Starz/Sky original limited series Mary & George have been revealed. The album features the show’s original music composed by Oliver Coates (Aftersun, The Stranger, Occupied City, Significant Other, Foe). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 5 by Invada Records and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. A digital single featuring two first tracks from Coates’ score has previously been released last week. Mary & George is created by D.C. Moore and stars Julianne Moore, Nicholas Galitzine, Nicola Walker, Tony Curran, Niamh Algar, Trine Dyrholm, Sean Gilder, Adrian Rawlins, Mark O’Halloran, Laurie Davidson, Samuel Blenkin and Simon Russell Beale. The 7-part historical drama tells the true story of a treacherous mother and son who seduced, schemed and killed to conquer the Court of England and the bed of King James I. Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Damsel. The album features the movie’s original music composed by David Fleming (The Last of Us, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Hillbilly Elegy, Blue Planet II, The Unforgivable, The Perfect Guy). Also included is Lykke Li’s cover of Ring of Fire, which is already out now as a digital single. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Composer Dave Palmer is reteaming with director Peter Farrelly (Green BookDumb and Dumber) on the new comedy Ricky Stanicky. The film starring Zac Efron, John Cena, Jermaine Fowler, Andrew Santino, Lex Scott Davis, Jeff Ross, Anja Savcic & William H. Macy follows three childhood best friends who invented the imaginary title character to get them out of trouble after they pull a prank gone wrong, but when their partners become suspicious, they have to hire a washed-up actor to portray their fictional friend. The team behind the sound mixing of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer has won the award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing in the Motion Pictures – Live Action category at tonight’s 60th annual Cinema Audio Society Awards ceremony at the at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. Scoring mixer Chris Fogel, along with production mixer Willie D. Burton, re-recording mixerx Gary A. Rizzo & Kevin O’Connell and foley mixers Tavish Grade, Jack Cucci &Mikel Parraga-Wills received the award for the film scored by Ludwig Göransson. In the Motion Pictures – Animated category, scoring mixer Sam Okell was honored as part of the sound mixing team of Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (scored by Daniel Pemberton).
