Joseph Trapanese has signed on to score the upcoming USA drama Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac & The Notorious B.I.G. The show is developed by Kyle Long (Suits) and stars Josh Duhamel, Marcc Rose, Wavyy Jonez, Jimmi Simpson, Bokeem Woodbine, Jamie McShane, Brent Sexton, Luke James, Aisha Hinds and Letoya Luckett. The series chronicles the two major police investigations by LAPD Detective Greg Kading into the murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. Silva Screen Records will release a new soundtrack album for the British animated series Thunderbirds Are Go!. The album features music from the show composed by Ben Foster (TorchwoodHidden KingdomsScott & Bailey) and Nick Foster (The Cube). The Volume 2 soundtrack will be released overseas on November 24, 2017. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring selections of the composers’ score from the first season. Fil Eisler has been hired to score the upcoming action thriller Proud Mary. The film is directed by Babak Najafi (London Has FallenEasy Money II: Hard to Kill) and stars Taraji P. Henson, Billy Brown, Jahi Di’Allo Winston and Danny Glover. The movie follows a hit woman working for an organized crime family in Boston, whose life is completely turned around when she meets a young boy whose path she crosses when a professional hit goes bad. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Capote, Surf’s Up) and Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur, Storks). Daniel Hart is scoring the new Showtime original series SMILF. The show is created by Frankie Shaw who also stars in the series alongside Miguel Gomez, Rosie O’Donnell and Samara Weaving. The comedy follows a smart, scrappy, young single mom trying to navigate the realities of motherhood with an extremely unconventional family. Shaw is also executive producing the ABC Signature Studios production with Lee Eisenburg & Gene Stupnitsky (Bad Teacher, The Office) and Michael London (Sideways, The Visitor). ‘Kedi’ Soundtrack Announced

Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Kedi. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kira Fontana. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 10, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on AmazonKedi is directed by Ceyda Torun and explores the hundreds of thousands of cats roaming the metropolis of Istanbul freely – a tradition that dates back thousands of years. Dominik Scherrer is composing the music for the upcoming BBC mini-series The City and the City. The drama is developed by Tony Grisoni (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Tideland) based on the novel of the same title by China Mieville and stars David Morrisey, Maria Schrader, Christian Camargo, Mandeep Dhillon, Ron Cook and Danny Webb.
