Warp Records has announced a soundtrack album for Josh and Benny Safdie’s crime thriller Uncut Gems. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel Lopatin (aka Oneohtrix Point Never) (The Bling Ring, Partisan) who has previously scored the Safdie Brothers’ last feature Good Time. BMG Italy has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama Volare (Tutto il mio folle amore). The album features the film’s original score composed by Mauro Pagani (Nirvana, Deadly Code, Puerto Escondido) and the songs from the performed by lead actor Claudio Santamaria. THR is reporting that Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, The Prince of Egypt, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame) has composed the original music for a new musical film adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol from Walt Disney Pictures. The movie, entitled Marley, will be directed by Bill Condon (Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, Dreamgirls, Mr. Holmes), and is told through the eyes of Jacob Marley, the deceased business partner of Ebenezer Scrooge.
