Amie Doherty (Undone, Battle at Big Rock, Marooned, Here and Now) has composed the original score for the upcoming musical comedy drama The High Note. The film is directed by Nisha Ganatra (Late Night, Cake) and stars Dakota Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Ice Cube, Zoe Chao, Eddie Izzard, Bill Pullman and Diplo. The movie is set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene and follows a superstar singer and her overworked personal assistant as they are presented with a choice that could alter the course of their respective careers. Flora Greeson wrote the screenplay. Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner (Atonement, Baby Driver, Love Actually, Rush) are producing the project for Working Title Films. The High Note is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on May 8, 2020 by Focus Features. Visit the official movie website for updates.

Doherty is also expected to return to score the second season of the Amazon animated series Undone, which is expected to be released later this year or in 2021.
