Opening in theaters nationwide is the post-apocalyptic horror movie 28 Years Later directed by Danny Boyle and starring Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Ralph Fiennes, Christopher Fulford, Edvin Ryding and Chi Lewis-Parry. The film’s original music is composed by the Scottish hip hop trio Young Fathers (Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole & Graham ‘G’ Hastings). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the group’s score and songs today. Also opening wide is the animated feature Elio directed by Madeline Sharafian, Domee Shi & Adrian Molina and starring Yonas Kibreab, Zoe Saldaña, Remy Edgerly, Brad Garrett, Jameela Jamil and Shirley Henderson. Rob Simonsen (Deadpool & Wolverine, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Whale, The Adam Project, The Way Back, Foxcatcher, The Age of Adaline, It Ends with Us, (500) Days of Summer, Nerve) has composed the film’s original music. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
