WaterTower Music will release the first soundtrack EP for the new CW comedy drama Katy Keene. The 5-track EP features the songs from the first episode of the show (Once Upon a Time in New York) performed by the series’ cast. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 7. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Golden Globe nominee Rolfe Kent (Sideways, Legally Blonde, Election, About Schmidt, Wedding Crashers, Stan & Ollie). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 7 and will be available to stream/download here. Timmy Failure is co-written and directed by Tom McCarthy and stars Winslow Fegley, Ophelia Lovibond, Wallace Shaw, Craig Robinson and Kyle Bornheimer. Svart Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Finnish/Estonian drama Maria’s Paradise (Marian paratiisi). The album features the film’s original music composed by Timo Kaukolampi & Tuomo Puranen (Euthanizer). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 20 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Maria’s Paradise is directed by Zaida Bergroth and stars Pihla Viitala, Satu Tuuli Karhu and Saga Sarkola. The movie is based on a real-life scandal that took place in Finland in the 1920s and centers on a teenage girl who begins to question the teachings (and actions) of the fringe religious sect in which she has been raised.
