Alexander Bornstein (First to the Moon, Paradox, The Last Heist, Black Site Delta) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix animated series Transformers – War for Cybertron: Siege. The show based on Hasbro’s toy franchise is the first part of a trilogy and begins in the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticon. The 6-parter follows two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, as they both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. Among the series’ voice cast are Jake Foushee (as Optimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (as Megatron), Linsay Rousseau (as Elita-1), Joe Zieja (as Bumblebee), Frank Todaro, Rafael Goldstein, Keith Silverstein, Todd Haberkorn, Edward Bosco, Bill Rogers, Sophia Isabella, Brook Chalmers, Shawn Hawkins, Kaiser Johnson, Miles Luna and Mark Whitten. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack EP for the Pixar Animation Studios short Lamp Life . The 4-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Jake Monaco (Let’s Be Cops, Dumplin’, Forky Asks a Question, Like a Boss, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Keeping Up with the Joneses). The full details of the soundtrack album for Pixar’s animated feature Onward have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Capote, Little Miss Sunshine) and Jeff Danna (The Addams Family, Storks, The Boondock Saints) who have previously scored the studios’ The Good Dinosaur. Also included is the original end credits song Carried Me With You performed by Brandi Carlile who also co-wrote the track with Phil Hanseroth and Tim Hanseroth.
