A soundtrack album has been announced for the horror thriller The Wretched. The album features the film’s original music composed by Devin Burrows (Deathheads), including extended music not heard in the movie. The soundtrack will be released on all major digital music services this Friday, July 17 and will be available to stream/download here. The Wretched is written and directed by Brett & Drew Pierce and stars John-Paul Howard, Piper Curda, Zarah Mahler, Azie Tesfai and Jamison Jones. Eskmo (aka Brendan Angelides) (13 Reasons Why, Billions) has made his feature solo scoring debut on the upcoming drama Naked Singularity. The film marks the feature directorial debut of screenwriter Chase Palmer (It) and stars John Boyega, Olivia Cooke, Ed Skrein, Bill Skarsgård, Linda Lavin and Tim Blake Nelson. The movie is based on the book of the same title by Sergio De La Pava and revolves around a rising star in the New York public defenders’ office who starts to question the criminal justice system after losing a case that results in his suspension. Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1976 mystery drama The Seven-Per-Cent Solution directed by Herbert Ross, written by Nicholas Meyer and starring Nicol Williamson, Robert Duvall, Alan Arkin and Laurence Olivier. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by John Addison (A Bridge Too Far, Tom Jones, Sleuth, Swashbuckler), as well as alternates and additional music. WaterTower Music has released the fourth soundtrack album for the HBO original series Perry Mason. The album features the original music from Episode 4 of the show composed by Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Malcolm X, 25th Hour, Red Tails, Inside Man). Interscope Records has released the original song Agua from the animated feature The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. The song performed by Tainy and J Balvin is now available to stream and download as a digital single on Amazon. Check out the official lyrics video after the jump. A full soundtrack album for the movie, which also features songs by Tyga, Swae Lee, Lil Mosey, Weezer, Snoop Dogg, The Flaming Lips, Kenny G. and Cyndi Lauper will be coming out closer to the film’s release. Opening in select theaters and on Hulu today is the comedy Palm Springs directed by Max Barbakow and starring Andy Samberg, Cristin Milioti, J.K.
