Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sports drama F1 directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, Kim Bodnia and Tobias Menzies. The film’s original score composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Inception, Dune, Gladiator, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel). Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie by artists including Don Toliver feat. Doja Cat, Tate McRae, Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, Tiësto, Dom Dolla, as well as a separate soundtrack featuring both the songs and Zimmer’s score today. Also opening wide this weekend is the sci-fi/horror sequel M3GAN 2.0 written and directed by Gerard Johnstone and starring Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, Jen Van Epps, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Amie Donald, Aristotle Athari, Jenna Davis, Ivanna Sakhno, Timm Sharp and Jemaine Clement. Chris Bacon (Wednesday, Heretic, Source Code, Men in Black: International, Gnomeo & Juliet, Bates Motel, 65, The Tick) has composed the film’s original music.
