Magic Light Pictures has released a soundtrack album for the animated short Zog and the Flying Doctors. The album features the original music from the holiday special composed by René Aubry (The Gruffalo, The Bears’ Famous Invasion, The Snail and the Whale, The Highway Rat) who previously scored the 2018 original Zog short. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. Zog and the Flying Doctors is directed by Sean Mullen and features the voices of Sir Lenny Henry as the narrator, Hugh Skinner, Tracey Ullman, Patsy Ferran and Kit Harington. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the Fox/Hulu original series The Orville. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Elf, Iron Man 2), Joel McNeely (A Million Ways to Die in the West, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles) and Andrew Cottee. Also included is Bruce Broughton’s main titles theme. The 2-CD set will be released on January 19, 2021 and is now available to order on Amazon or La-La Land’s official website. A digital version is set to come out on January 22 (click here to stream/download). The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composers’ music from the first season last year. Chris Benstead is reteaming with director Guy Ritchie on the upcoming action thriller Wrath of Man. The film is co-written and directed by Ritchie (Snatch, Sherlock Holmes, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) and stars Jason Statham, Scott Eastwood, Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Laz Alonso and Josh Hartnett. The movie is based on the 2004 French triller Cash Truck by Nicolas Boukhrief and revolves around a mysterious character who works for an armored truck company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week. The sci-fi adventure is set in in Europe 2074, 45 years after a mysterious catastrophe when the continent is split into small states and microstates in which different tribes fight for predominance, and follows three siblings who are separated and forced to forge their own paths. Australian Broadcasting Corp (ABC) has released a soundtrack album for the Australian comedy Rams. The album features the film’s original score composed by Antony Partos (Animal Kingdom, The Rover, I Am Mother, 99 Homes, Adore). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Rams is directed by Jeremy Sims and stars Sam Neill, Michael Caton, Miranda Richardson, Asher Keddie and Wayne Blair. The movie is based the 2015 feature of the same title by Grímur Hákonarson and tells the story of a decades-long feud between two estranged sheep farming brothers which comes to a head when disaster strikes their flocks.
