The album features the expanded score from the film composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, The Hurricane, Sinister, Drag Me to Hell, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Ghost Rider) and performed by the London Metropolitan Orchestra, including previously unreleased music and bonus tracks. La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1967 drama Banning directed by Ron Winston and starring Robert Wagner, Jill St. John, Gene Hackman, Guy Stockwell and James Farentino. The album, which is being released as part of the label’s Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection, features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Quincy Jones (The Color Purple, In Cold Blood, Roots, The Italian Job, In the Heat of the Night Mackenna’s Gold). Also included is the Gil Bernal-performed original theme song The Eyes of Love, for which Jones and lyricist Bob Russell received an Academy Award nomination. The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama The United States vs. Billie Holiday have been revealed. The album features the Billie Holiday songs from the film performed by lead actress Andra Day. Also included are the original songs Tigress & Tweed co-written by Day & Raphael Saadiq (already available as a digital single now) & Break Your Fall written by Warren Oak Felder & Coleridge Tillman, as well as The Devil and I Got Up to Dance a Slow Dance performed by Charlie Wilson and co-written by himself, Jamie Hartman, Felder & Tillmann. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Clash of the Titans, A Wrinkle in Time) is set to score the upcoming HBO original series House of the Dragon. The show is created by George R.R. Martin & Ryan Condal and stars Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy and Matt Smith. The fantasy drama based on Martin’s book Fire & Blood takes place 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of House Targaryen (a.k.a. the House that gave us the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen). The album features the original music from the film composed by director/lead actor Viggo Mortensen who collaborated with Buckethead on several tracks.
