The sci-fi movie starring Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett is set in the near future and revolves around two convicts who confront their pasts in a facility run by a visionary who gives them emotion-altering drugs. The film is directed by Ty Roberts (The Iron Orchard) and stars Luke Wilson, Martin Sheen, Vinessa Shaw, Jake Austin Walker, Wayne Knight, Treat Williams, Scott Haze, Ron White, and Robert Duvall. The movie is based on Jim Dent’s bestselling book of the same title and tells the true story of the Mighty Mites, the football team of a Fort Worth orphanage who, during the Great Depression, went from playing without shoes to playing for the Texas state championships. Epic Records has released the first songs from the second season of the Epix original series Godfather of Harlem. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms are Been To War by Swizz Beatz, DMX & French Montana, as well as Prince Hakeem by India Shawn & ADÉ. Also listen to both tracks below. More songs from the new season are expected to come out over the next couple of weeks. ‘Kid 90’ Soundtrack Album Released

Linda Perry (of of the former rock band 4 Non Blondes) (Citizen Penn, Punky Brewster) has released a soundtrack album for the Hulu documentary Kid 90. The album features the singer/songwriter’s original score and several original songs (including The Letter, which has previously been released as a digital single) from the film. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music store to stream/download the album and to check out audio samples. Kid 90 is directed by Soleil Moon Frye who – as a teenager in the 90s – carried a video camera everywhere she went documenting her group of friends (including David Arquette, Brian Austin Green and Mark-Paul Gosselaar) as they grew up in Hollywood and New York City.
