La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1998 disaster drama Deep Impact directed by Mimi Leder and starring Robert Duvall, Téa Leoni, Elijah Wood, Morgan Freeman, Vanessa Redgrave and Maximilian Schell. The album features the film’s expanded and newly remastered original score composed and conducted by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, AvatarBraveheart, Apollo 13GloryField of Dreams, A Beautiful MindThe Land Before TimeLegends of the Fall), including previously unreleased music. The 2-CD set, which is limited to 3,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples.
