Plentiful Organs will release the first soundtrack album for the Canadian TV series Moonshine. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first three seasons composed by Agatha Kaspar (Kodachrome, Ginny & Georgia, Copenhagen). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, August 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Moonshine is created by Sheri Elwood and stars Jennifer Finnigan, Emma Hunter, Anastasia Phillips, Corrine Koslo, Tom Stevens, Peter MacNeill and Alexander Nunez. The drama follows a family of dysfunctional siblings as they battling for control of their family business.

Ramin Djawadi Scoring Pixar’s Disney+ Series ‘Win or Lose’
Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Westworld, Pacific Rim, Eternals, Uncharted, Clash of the Titans) has been tapped to score the upcoming Disney+ original animated series Win or Lose. The show marks Pixar Animation Studios’ first-ever long-form animated series and follows a coed middle school softball team, in the week leading up to their championship game. Each episode offers a look inside the off-the-field life of a character – a player, their parent, the umpire.
World Premiere Release of David Shire’s ‘Killer Bees’ Score Announced
Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1974 television movie Killer Bees directed by Curtis Harrington and starring Gloria Swanson, Kate Jackson, Craig Stevens, John Getz and Edward Albert. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by David Shire (The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, The Conversation, All the President’s Men, Zodiac, Return to Oz, Short Circuit). Also included are selections of the composer’s scores from two other TV movies: 1973’s Isn’t It Shocking? (directed by John Badham) and 1971’s Harpy. Rob Lane Scoring MGM+’s ‘The Winter King’
Rob Lane (John Adams, Merlin, Atlantis, The Damned United, Beowulf) has recently scored the new MGM+ original series The Winter King. The show is developed by Kate Brooke (Bancroft, Mr Selfridge) & Ed Whitmore (Manhunt, Identity) based on Bernard Cornwell’s Warlord Chronicles and stars Iain De Caestecker, Eddie Marsan, Ellie James, Stuart Campbell, Nathaniel Martello-White, Daniel Ings, Jordan Alexandra, Valene Kane and Simon Merrells. The drama is set in the fifth century, long before Britain was united, and follows Arthur Pendragon as he evolves from outcast to legendary warrior and leader.

The film’s original music is composed by Ian Livingstone (Battlefield 1943, Book of Love, 97 Minutes, Total War: Warhammer, The Messenger, The King Maker). The comedy, which is inspired by BuzzFeed’s viral digital series Puppyhood about a man who found his soulmate in a puppy, will be available to stream exclusively on Freevee.
Hannah Parrott Scoring Amazon’s ‘Harlan Coben’s Shelter’
Hannah Parrott (Head Count, The Croods: Family Tree, When Jeff Tried to Save the World, Last Three Days, Golden Arm) is the composer of the new Amazon original series Harlan Coben’s Shelter. The show is created by Coben (The Stranger, Stay Close) and stars Jaden Michael, Constance Zimmer, Adrian Greensmith, Tovah Feldshuh, Abby Corrigan, Sage Linder and Brian Altemus. The 8-part thriller follows a teenager who – after the sudden death of his father – leads him to start a new life in Kasselton, New Jersey, where he quickly finds himself tangled in the mysterious disappearance of a new student at his school, which leads to uncovering unimaginable secrets within their quiet suburban community.
‘My Dad the Bounty Hunter’ Season 2 Title Song Released
Netflix Music has released the title song from the second season of the Netflix original animated series My Dad the Bounty Hunter. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Mom the Bounty Hunter written by the show’s composer Joshua Mosley, as well as Jordan Mosley & Taylor Mosley and performed by Keke Palmer feat. EmmoLei Sankofa Scoring Hulu’s ‘The Other Black Girl’
EmmoLei Sankofa (Step Up, Three Ways, Lizzo’s Watch Out For the Big Grrrls, Horror Noire) has been tapped to score the new Hulu original series The Other Black Girl. The show is based on Zakiya Dalila Harris’ best-selling novel of the same name and stars Sinclair Daniel, Ashleigh Murray, Hunter Parrish, Brittany Adebumola, Bellamy Young, Eric McCormack and Garcelle Beauvais. The comedy follows an African American editorial assistant at a predominantly white publishing firm who gets excited when a new black co-worker gets hired, but discovers something sinister is going on at the company.
