Marc Canham Scoring Disney+’s & Hulu’s ‘Culprits’
Composer Marc Canham (Far Cry 2, Deceit, Close, Barbarians, Burn Burn Burn, The Final Girl) is reuniting with writer/director J Blakeson (The 5th Wave, Gunpowder) on the upcoming British Disney+/Hulu original series Culprits. The show is created by Blakeson and stars Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Gemma Arterton, Niamh Algar, Kirby, Kamel El Basha, Tara Abboud, Kevin Vidal, Ned Dennehy and Eddie Izzard. The 8-part crime thriller takes place after a heist, when the crew have gone their separate ways, but are being targeted by a killer one-by-one.

Premiering on Tuesday, October 24, is the documentary Milli Vanilli directed by Luke Korem about the titular superstar duo. The film’s original music is composed by Mondo Boys (She Dies Tomorrow, The Girlfriend Experience, Fatman, Phoenix Forgotten, Silk Road). The movie, which explores the duo’s ascension to success that came with a devastating price that ultimately led to their infamous undoing, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will make its streaming debut on Paramount+.
Premiering on Wednesday, October 25, is the Netflix original documentary series Life on Our Planet narrated by Morgan Freeman and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Alastair Fothergill, Keith Scholey, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Adam) has composed the show’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring Balfe’s themes and suites, as well as eight albums featuring the composer’s score from each episode. ‘Three Little Birds’ Soundtrack Album Released
Banijay Music has released a soundtrack album for the new ITV drama Three Little Birds. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Benjamin Burrell (Shortcut). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on most major digital music services, including Amazon. Listen to the composer’s title track below. Three Little Birds is created by Sir Lenny Henry and stars Rochelle Neil, Yazmin Belo, Saffron Coomber, Javone Prince, Leemore Marrett Jr, Arthur Darvill, Bobby Gordon and Amy Beth Hayes. The 6-part drama executive produced by Russell T Davies is inspired by Lenny Henry’s mother’s stories about leaving Jamaica in the 1950s for Great Britain, which became her lifelong home and where she raised her family.
‘Life on Our Planet’ Chapters 5-8 Soundtrack Albums Details
The details of the final four soundtrack albums for the Netflix documentary series Life on Our Planet have been revealed. Available to stream/download now are the Chapter 1-4 soundtracks (click here for the details of each album), as well as the soundtracks for Chapter 5 (In the Shadows of Giants), Chapter 6 (Out of the Ashes), Chapter 7 (Inheriting the Earth) and Chapter 8 (Age of Ice and Fire) featuring music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation & Dead Reckoning, Black Adam, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, The Wheel of Time). Netflix Music has previously released an album featuring suites and Balfe’s principal themes from the show last week.
Soundtrack Album for BBC’s ‘Boiling Point’ TV Series to Be Released
Faber Music will release a soundtrack album for the BBC drama Boiling Point. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Aaron May & David Ridley (Malpractice, Villain, Arsène Wenger: Invincible) who previously scored the 2021 feature of the same title. The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Monday, October 23 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Boiling Point is created by Philip Barantini, James Cummings & Stephen Graham, directed by Barantini & Mounia Akl and stars Vinette Robinson, Graham himself, Hannah Walters, Daniel Larkari, Ahmed Malek, Stephen McMillan, Shaun Fagan and Taz Skylar. The 4-part series follows head chef Carly as she is battling to forge a name for the new London restaurant Point North alongside her old kitchen crew.

Following last week’s release of the “suites & themes” album, Netflix Music will release eight more soundtracks for the streamer’s original documentary series Life on Our Planet. The albums feature the original score from all eight episodes of the show composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, His Dark Materials, The LEGO Batman Movie, Top Gun: Maverick) and recorded with the Royal National Orchestra. Lorne Balfe & Michael Bitton Scoring Paramount+’s ‘The Burning Girls’
Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning & Fallout, Black Adam, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick) has teamed up with Michael Bitton (who has worked with Balfe on numerous projects over the last couple of years) to score the new British Paramount+ original series The Burning Girls. The show is developed by Hans Rosenfeldt (The Bridge) based on novel of the same name by C.J. Tudor and stars Samantha Morton, Ruby Stokes, Rupert Graves, Conrad Khan and David Dawson. The psychological thriller follows a Vicar and her daughter who both arrive in a new village in hope of a fresh start, but soon realize the place has a dark past.
Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Bodies’ to Be Released
Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the British Netflix limited series Bodies. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jon Opstad (The Woman in White, Black Mirror: White Christmas & White Bear, We Hunt Together, Safe House, The Feed) . Bodies is created by Paul Tomalin and stars Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Shira Haas, Stephen Graham, Amaka Okafor, Greta Scacchi, Kyle Soller and Tom Mothersdale. Ubisoft Music will release the official soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix. The album features the show’s original music composed by Oscillian (The Guardians of Justice (Will Save You!)). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Thursday, October 19 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is created by Adi Shankar based on Ubisoft characters from franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Rayman and Far Cry.
